August 25, 2020  – Panthronics AG was named a 2020 NFC Forum Innovation Award Finalist today.  The NFC Forum Innovation Awards recognizes the development, deployment and use of state-of-the-art of NFC products, services and applications worldwide. Ninety entries were received from innovators around the world demonstrating the tremendous growth and interest in Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and its use. The NFC Forum is the global standards-body for NFC technology.

Panthronics AG was one of 15 finalists selected in five categories.  Five grand prize winners will be revealed September 30, 2020 during an online awards ceremony.  The entries were reviewed and voted on by a distinguished panel of judges.  NXP Semiconductors is the Platinum Sponsor of the Innovation Awards as well as the sponsor of the Best NFC Application in the iOS Award Category.
