Panthronics AG, an independent IC company with expertise in high performance NFC/RFID hardware and software solutions, is launching the PTX range of differentiated NFC products. We are currently looking for outstanding people in this domain to strengthen our teams in Graz and in APAC and North America. We now require an additional experienced System Engineer in the area of Near Field Communication (NFC) to provide verification of IC building blocks and complete systems for NFC/RFID, Mobiles, Wearables, and IoT-Applications.

Educational Background

• 3+ years of lab experience (lab-equipment handling + soldering) (important)
• Solid programming skills in Java and C (important)
• 3+ years of experience in system (HW, FW, SW) evaluation and debugging in the NFC area
• Knowledge of different NFC standards & technologies (NFC-Forum, EMVCo, …)
• Experience in lab setup automation
• Experience with NFC certification systems (e.g., Comprion) (nice to have)
• PCB design (nice to have)
• Team player!
• Technical affinity and curiosity
• Self-reliant way of working with excellent debugging skills
• Fluent in English – German skills are a plus

Job Profile

• Block- and System-level testing of the next generation NFC ICs
• Concept and co-development of new features based on existing and/or new products
• Concept and co-development of new system applications for specific products
• Concept and development of semi/full automated test equipment including robotics
• Designing new demo/evaluation boards
• System-level and in-depth debugging of NFC applications and products
• Definition of test cases and test procedures for specific products
• Execute pre-certification measurement for different standards
• Executing internal and customer lab measurements
• Take responsibility on given tasks or products including coordination, tracking, and reporting


Compensation

• Salary commensurate with market based on individual person This position is in accordance with the Austrian collective agreement for employees within engineering companies, employment group IV: www.ingenieurbueros.at/verband/de/kollektivvertrag.
