NFC Software Engineers (f/m/d)

Panthronics AG, an independent IC company with expertise in high performance NFC/RFID hardware and software solutions, is anticipating the forthcoming launch of the PTX range of differentiated NFC products. We are currently looking for outstanding people in this domain to strengthen our teams in Graz and in APAC and North America. We now require additional experienced Near Field Communication (NFC) Software Engineers to define and develop soft-ware for NFC/RFID, Mobiles, Wearables, and IoT-Applications.

• Degree in the field of software engineering, computer science or equivalent
• At least 4 years’ experience in software/firmware engineering
• Very good programming skills in C, C++, Java, Python
• Good knowledge of state-of-the-art software development tools
• Understand NFC/RFID architecture requirements in mobile and infrastructure devices
• Have experience in NFC/RFID protocols, standards and products
• Experience in development of low-level drivers (SPI, UART, I2C) and embedded RTOS are a plus
• Self-reliant way of working with excellent debugging skills
• English and local language(s), written and spoken

• Design and development of NFC/RFID software stacks & tools in a multi-language environment (C, C++, Java, Python)
• Implementation and testing of specifications for various certification schemes
• Software system integration, testing, debugging and documentation
• Participation in code and technical reviews
• Strong interaction with the hardware team
• Cooperate on specifying features of next generation software stack
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
