Hardware Application Engineers for NFC (f/m/d)

Panthronics AG an independent IC company with expertise in high performance NFC/RFID hardware and software solutions is anticipating the forthcoming launch of the PTX range of differentiated NFC products. We are currently looking for outstanding people in this domain to strengthen our teams in Graz and in APAC and North America. We now require additional experienced Hardware Application Engineer to provide design in and go to market support.

• Master Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in design and prototyping of PCBs with Altium Designer.
• 5+ years’ experience in bring up and validation of Demos and reference-designs.
• System level design experience in mixed-signal circuits (power mgmt, MCUs, RF cir-cuits and matching).
• Experience in concept studies, vendor comparison and project qualification.
• Experienced in setting up and running testing and validation laboratory equipment according to standards.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.

• Responsible for level 2 technical support for released products
• Development of PCB Demos and reference designs including testing, characterization and validation
• Develop measurements setups and methods based on standards
• Prepare application notes, articles and technical presentations
• Perform analysis of own and competitive products including evaluation reports
• Conduct customer technical training until FAE can take over
• Conduct training/support to level-1 support (FAE) on system level
• Provides inputs to new product definition
• Open for customer inputs, self-reflective and self-critical personality. Good at customers, readiness to travel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
