Digital Design Verification Engineer (f/m/d)

Panthronics AG an independent IC company with expertise in high performance NFC/RFID hardware and software solutions is anticipating the forthcoming launch of the PTX range of differentiated NFC products. We are currently looking for outstanding people in this domain to strengthen our team in Graz namely a Digital Design Verification Engineer for the development of the verification components for digital building blocks used ICs for RFID/NFC, Mobiles, Wearables, and IoT-Applications.

• Degree in the field of Electronic/Electrical engineering
• Expert knowledge in design verification using Verilog/System Verilog/UVM (5 years+)
• Experience in testbenches design and state-of-the-art verification methodologies (UVM, directed tests, metric-driven verification, formal verification)
• Knowledge of standard SOC components (μ-controllers, bus-systems, host-interfaces), NFC-knowledge is a big plus
• Programming language skills for writing test-code and job-automation (Verilog/SV, VHDL, Bash, Perl, Python, Java, Assembler)
• Fluent in English – German skills are plus

• Reviewing design specification and selecting the appropriate verification methodology
• Providing verification plans based on design specification including organizing verification plan meetings with design team
• Specification and implementation of block-level testbench for design blocks based on the selected methodology
• Scripting activities for automation of recurring tasks
• Test implementation on existing block and system level testbenches
• Alignment with engineers of other disciplines on interfaces and functionality of IPs
• Support for lab validation
